Community Involvement
I have lived in Guelph for the past 38 years and have been a long-time and active volunteer. Everyone has talents and skills, and by committing time to initiatives we all help make a positive difference in our community.
I have met wonderful people, made good friends, helped shape my community,
and I have a strong sense of belonging.
I am proud of many accomplishments:
Being involved in my community allows me to engage with different perspectives and lived experiences. Being involved in my community holds me accountable to families for school board decisions in Guelph, and system-wide to families in Wellington and Dufferin Counties.
